80's themed FORMAL dance?

My sorority actually just had an '80s themed formal dance! For my dress, I lucked out and found an actual '80s prom dress at a consignment shop, so you could try looking at thrift shops, etc. For decorations, we had balloons, lights, life-size cardboard cut-outs of Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze and Baby from Dirty Dancing, Fabio, and more. We had two cakes, one decorated like a Rubix cube and the other like a PacMan game and we had a ton of random candy from the '80s (fun dip and more). We played mostly modern-day music but did through in some '80s music too. The clothes were a little bit of an issue though, and most people ended up dressing normal, but it was still a lot of fun!
