If it's chipped all the way into the root, that could cause a LOT of pain & the dog would refuse to eat & put anything else in the mouth. If she is refusing to eat, then you should bring her to the Vet immediately & get it extracted. The doc would prescribe some pain meds for her as well. If she is in no pain at all, still eats normally & still plays ball, then it's up to you whether you want to get it extracted or not.
