What are the responsibilities for an Executive Secretary for a County Commissioner?

I am going for an interview for this position against several other candidates and this interview will be asking "situational questions" in reference to problems or complaints that county residents might have. If you work in a County Commissioners office, PLEASE send whatever information you may have on protocol of handling different types of situations. Be as specific as possible.
