When my GSD was pup he turned so beautiful like teddy bear toy. But few months later people don't admire him?

now people say he looks vicious and mean. some say he looks evil too. My GSD is 1 year old. Why did people like him as pup but now hate him when he grew up? he has always been sweet, gentle and playful boy
