Is there an obligation of the theist to consider other Gods?

ume that you are a christian theist. You advise those that believe in different Gods that their path to salvation is to consider and embrace christianity. But you, yourself, refuse to consider other religions/Gods. You may not even know anything about other religions/Gods, and you refuse to even consider learning about them - stating that you know that your God is the only true God, and all of the others are false. Perhaps you claim to know this through overwhelming revelation to your spirit/heart or through some religious text. But how could you know that other religions/Gods may not provide a similar or greater revelation or an even more moving religious text - if you had not been exposed to any of them? Is this problematic? Is it at all hypocritical for a christian to suggest to believers in other religions that they learn christianity while at the same time refusing to learn about other religions?
