i work on a dementia/Alzheimer's unit and i know how hard it can be for a family to confront the illness there is a lot of guilt and denial involved. however it is important that you speak to her about your concern because there are a lot of medications out there that can keep the disease from worsening at a rapid rate. without medication it can get bad fast. the illness is genetic so it wouldn't be far-fetched to think that it could be early signs. just be as sensitive as you can when bringing it up because it is a very difficult thing for someone to accept. you don't want to find her wandering the streets because she forgot where her home is or have her start a fire while trying to cook. those are stories i hear quite frequently from families when new residents come to the home. so protect her by at least getting her to see the doctor for some tests. i am sorry that you are dealing with this it can be very difficult.

I love my boyfriend, he's really caring, lovely and frickin hilarious, plus i can't imagine someone more perfect for me. I'm 39 weeks pregnant. And having BAD contractions at night. The subside in the morning, but never go away.

I have been having terrible contractions at night that wake me up for the past 4 nights now. They aren't very consistant, sometimes 15 minutes apart, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes, and sometimes when I just move a certain way. They subside in the morning and are less painful, still not consistant. This is my 3rd pregnancy, I had back labor with the first, and the second was born 12 hours after contractions started so this doesn't seem normal to me. I also have alot of pressure on my rectum, and in my pelvis area. Should I call my doctor or just wait for the contractions to become more regular?

look for foods that don't have a lot of gluten and corn starch. suprisingly kibbles and bits is one of the cheapest foods that doesn't have a lot of these. however, if you are looking for a high quality food that is a little more expensive, i would recomend blue buffalo at pet stores or another natural food of the sort. i think dogs do like meat. i have been feeding my dog purina one's senior vitatlity food,which is another food that doesn't have a lot of fillers in it. Everytime im away from my best friend brianna i get really depressed and i feel lonely and start to' cry. How to water my tomato plants?

You need two thing to look at. 1, are they drying out from the weather or are the plants using up the water themselves. are they growing fast and have fruit, this will make the plant use more water. If it is possible. Buy a light duty cheap hose and fix it to the pots and up around the hanging plants some how. Zip tie it good and secure. now take a really small straight pin or needle and poke a really small hole in the hose and turn the water on low. as long as you get a little tiny stream coming out you are good. It means more water is going on the plant then what its loosing. You may get some cheap coil hose from the dollar store. Shut it off at night and turn it on in the morning. Have you coffee outside some time and admire what you are growing. that's what so nice about gardening. if you can't do that. then put some wood mulch or a plastic bag over the soil to slow the evaporation rate down. I don't like to much plastic because it will spot the tomatoes bottoms and make them rot.

I have a 7-year-old Bengal who has chronic virus in his eyes and respiratory system that he picked up when he was seriously ill as a kitten. He's managed to go along fairly happily all his life with good care. In January, he was diagnosed as diabetic, and he is getting 1.5 units of vetsulin twice daily and a diabetic (high protein with fiber added) diet. His blood glucose tests are good. This is a cat that has weighed 18 pounds when he was a little overweight, and he is now down to 12 pounds (very bony looking). He constantly begs for food, but then will eat only a few bites. He doesn't much like the diet dry food (combination of Purina DM and Purina high-fiber), but will try to steal my rescued kitten's kitten chow (but even that, he'll only snack at if he manages to get some). He has very loose stools (this is what the additional fiber was supposed to help with), and I haven't been able to put any weight on him, even with giving him a tablespoon of high protein canned food he likes several times a day. I would really appreciate any serious advice. PLEASE don't tell me to take him to the vet. He has been to the vet too much (and she is a very good vet). Short of having him undergo major expensive tests like full body scans, they can't think of anything else.

Divided Peace Lilies Drooping -HELP!?

I had two large potted peace lilies. I divided them, pruned the roots, and put them into smaller pots. They are still green, but have been drooping like they were ran over by a truck or something. It has been over a month. They seem to perk up a bit when I take them out for rainwater, but not much at all. One of them has stems that are all upright, but then the leaves droop straight down like they have broken necks. I have not given any fertilizer because I am afraid to shock them. Well the parents were probably a shih tzu/poodle mix and a er/poodle mix. Thats what would make the most sense. Ive never heard of that mix, but the scam artists come out with new stuff all the time. Medical Issue- Please Help!!!!?

I'm a nineteen year old female. I was diagnosed with optic neurtitis a couple of weeks ago. I've had the following symptoms for the past months- tingling/temporary numbness in my arms and legs, shaking legs, hands, unbalanced coordination, fatigue, and general weakness. I had an MRI done last week and it was negative. Is this Anxiety? Or me going CRAZY?

Hi, I am almost 19, and one year ago I had one, i repeat ONE, panic attack.. Since then i have been a different person.. I have taken Lexapro, and then moved on to these other pills. Since then I never experianced another panic attack, but what I am experiancing is, that i am trapped completly. I consider earth, this planet a big ball or bubble that is keeping me inside... and i wanna freak when i get thoughts of being "closed in" or "trapped"... but its weird because instead of that... i feel weird and get mood swings... and feel crappy one day, and happy other days... but the good thing is these pills are helping 100%.... but, i still feel weird ALOT.. so I do not know what is wrong with me? the doctor said im fine, thats the symptoms of Anxiety, and that these pills will slow my mind and not think.. but aye, damn.... it's reallly HARD. everything that affects me, i get different feelings.. ugh. I am a biual female. I had been talking to this girl for 4 weeks until today. We have so much in common and a lot of chemistry. When we're together, I feel so happy and I miss her when shes away. I bought it for $4,000. It was his fathers and when he died he sold it to me. I asked a question earlier on how much they were for an original. The engine is the original strait six as is the rest of the drivetrain. The paint was redone to its factory color, and the interior was redone after a few years of neglect. The entire thing is reconstructed to its original splendor except for a few things. I would like to fix it up the few things like the pitted emblems, and organize the papers on it. I was wondering if someone could help by giving me websites that might help me out with finding emblems and finding more information on getting the papers together. For my dress, I lucked out and found an actual '80s prom dress at a consignment shop, so you could try looking at thrift shops, etc. For decorations, we had balloons, lights, life-size cardboard cut-outs of Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze and Baby from Dirty Dancing, Fabio, and more. We had two cakes, one decorated like a Rubix cube and the other like a PacMan game and we had a ton of random candy from the '80s (fun dip and more). He was nice but since then very distant. Today I went outside and he was in his car. I could tell he was waiting for me to get into my car and drive off. I only noticed him when I was leaving. It was 100 degrees outside. I can read body language very well and he was avoiding me. I don't know, I feel I gave and he is type who if you dont beckon to his every call then you are basically given the shaft. I dont operate that way. Horse won't load on trailer?

I've got a nice sized 15.2 QH gelding. He's the perfect gentleman to load on a step up trailer. Well, we had to purchase a trailer with a RAMP due to finances. He absolutely refuses to get on. I know it's o.k. to call them Scarface if they have a scar on their face. I have a scar on my from backing into the faucet in the shower when I was cleaning the tub years ago. Would it be o.k. to insist that people call me Scar?

We have better food than the Brits. America is huge compared to Europe and things are really spread out so everyone drives everywhere. Unless you are living in Boston, New York City, Chicago etc. Expect the public transportation to be crap. Things are pretty tense between our two countries right now so you may run into some a$$holes (imagine if an American went to live in Iran right now). But for the most part people are pretty friendly. It sounds like your English is pretty good so you should do okay in that department. Overall we are pretty laid back. God is warning us in Leviticus chapter 11 not only to stay away from the "unclean" land animals, birds, insects, amphibians, reptiles, rodents, rabbits and water creatures as food products for disease prevention reasons but to stay away from them period for disease prevention reasons that we have not figured out yet. i've owned the trek madone in teh past... nice bike.. really is... i've also seen and worked on the new aluminum treks...the 1.2.. in my opinion... not worth it.... of the two... i'd go with the scott... granted... both are very entry level and you do get a little better components with the trek... not much better though....The frame is the difference though... the frame on the 1.2 is just... well... it was not made, in my opinion, anywhere near the same level the past trek's used to be... If you can find a 2006 or 2007 Trek 1000 or 1500, go with that.... as for 2008 models... go with the trek 1.5 or better... the 1.2 is just so... well... its just not good enough... the 2007 got teh award for best bike under $1000 but the 2008 wasn't even ranked in the top 8. Also, price wise.... don't pay more than $720 for either of these bikes..... you can find good deals on these two models especially the 2006 and 2007 versions... they are out there... new and used.. check ebay.. you can find some very well taken care of bikes for much less than retail.

Im not sure what you mean by Tri-C....but you can go to Community college and take say...a math cl and you will get HS credit and College credit for it...sometimes it will be one or the other and it depends on the school, the cl and if the credits are transferable (will they be accepted by the HS). Blacking out from alcohol?

What happens physically when u black out? Ok, I may have a bit of a drinkin prob.. I've only been drinkin for about a year and a half, but its always been beer.. About 8 months ago I started drinkin everclear, then I moved to bacardi 151, mixin it wit coke zero (diet thing haha).. So this past Saturday night I apparently blacked out for about 3 and a half hours.. We were havin our usually party at mine and my fiance's house so I was in no danger, everyone there is in our "group".. I've had instances where I dont remember goin to bed or remember gettin there jus not fallin asleep, but never have I not remembered something like this.. What should I do when I start going to church?

I have never really gone to church; I just had my own beliefs. After taking a world religion cl I realized I have the same beliefs as Lutherans. I want to start going to church and I would eventually like to be baptized. I am moving in a few months, and I am kind of using that to start a new chapter in my life and this is when I would like to start going to church. Blackish hair on live plants?

Change brakes or not?

hi, I bought some brakes for my 92 toyota paseo, but today just to make sure I should put some new ones on, I went to my local mechanic that has worked on my car for about 6 years, and he looked through my rims and said that it looked like I still had 60% life in my brakes, but about 2 minutes ago hs istant said 40%, but the guy who said 60% is the main mechanic(the smarter one). I just became a new christian and my parents are telling me to go to there church which a embly of god ... The main problem that I have is that I am already in deep debt with student loans approximately $50 000.00 in which I am behind on payments.
